On Monday 25 June 2018 at 10.00 hrs., Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Chargé d' Affaires of Thailand to Singapore, met with Mr. Apinya Sujarittanan, Inspector General of Ministry of Labour of Thailand together with high level delegations from Ministry of Labour. Delegations visited Singapore on official trip during 24 – 26 June 2018. 

Chargé d'Affaires informed the Inspector General about the current situation of Thai workers in Singapore. They further discussed on programmes and means that Royal Thai Embassy and Office of Labour Affairs in Singapore together have provided to the Thai workers. Inspector General expressed his gratitude on the close and effective coordination between the Embassy and the Office of Labour Affairs, which ultimately benefited the Thai workers living in Singapore. Furthermore, they discussed on various topics including workers’ skill development, in particular on Thai cooking, language skills and labour situations after the realization of ASEAN Community in 2015.
