Thai National Identification Card

Thai National ID card service is for Thai residents in Singapore only.

 

  • Services Timing: Monday-Thursday between 9.30-11.30 a.m.
  • Appointment required for Thai National ID card services. appointment thai ID card for September
  • Renewal of Thai National ID card: Applicants can renew their Thai National ID card up to 60 days prior to the expiry of the current at NO cost.
  • The application fee of  S$ 5- (cash only) is applied in the cases of loss or damage, change of name, surname or address. (The applicants are required to apply for an amendment of his/her personal data at Thai District offices in Thailand prior to applying for Thai National ID card).

 

The required documents for renewing Thai National ID card.

  1. Current Thai National ID card (For loss of Thai National ID card, kindly provide a police report that was lodged no longer than 6 months.)
  2. Current Thai passport.
  3. Proof of residency in Singapore such as Work Permit, S Pass, Long-Term, Visit Pass, Dependent’s Pass, Employment Pass, etc.

Remark

          A child born in Singapore and has never apply Thai national ID card before is not able to apply their first Thai National ID card at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore. Their first Thai National ID application can be process in Thailand only.

          Thai citizens who have their name and address in the central house registration also cannot renew their new Thai National ID card at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore. They have to renew it in Thailand.
