On 30 January 2026, Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. presided over a reception on the occasion of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day, organised by the Office of the Defence Attaché of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore.
Mrs. Chanrachakul reiterated the close and cordial ties between the Royal Thai Armed Forces and Singapore Armed Forces through various bilateral and multilateral cooperation frameworks, military training exercises and regular exchanges of visits, which have become an important foundation of the strong and cordial partnership between the two countries.
The Royal Thai Embassy is honoured to have Major-General Kelvin Fan, Chief of Air Force of Singapore, as the Guest of Honour. There were more than 200 representatives from MINDEF, Singapore Armed Forces, foreign Defence Attachés and members of the Team Thailand in Singapore attended the reception.
The Royal Thai Armed Forces Day is celebrated annually on 18 January to commemorate the bravery and sacrifices of our ancestors and armed forces in protecting the land and sovereignty of the Thai nation.
