On 19 January 2023, Ambassador Chutintorn Gongsakdi presided over a Chinese New Year Lo Hei Lunch, hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Singapore Office. There were 40 of TAT’s valuable partners in the Singapore tourism industry participating in the luncheon.

On this occasion, Ambassador Chutintorn wished the participants good health, happiness and prosperity in the Year of the Rabbit. The Ambassador also expressed his confidence that this year will be a very good year for the tourism industry and reiterated that Thailand is always ready to welcome Singaporeans and other visitors to our country, not only during the Chinese New Year, but at any time of the year.

Mrs. Kulpramote Wannalert, Director of TAT, Singapore Office, thanked TAT’s valuable partners for supporting Thailand tourism promotion in the past year. In 2022, Thailand received 600,000 travellers from Singapore, which is a remarkable achievement for TAT despite the pandemic. For this year, through the campaign, “Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters”, TAT will put emphasis on promoting high value and sustainable tourism.
