On December 4, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand, attended the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024 at Capitol Theatre, an event organized to recognize achievements in Asian content creation and media production.

 

At the awards, Thailand won two Grand Prizes. The Best Drama Series award was presented to Dr. Climax, a series that explores themes of gender equality and sexuality within Thai society. Additionally, The Betrayal, an adaptation of a UK series, Doctor Foster, won the award for Best Adaptation of an Existing Format (Scripted).

 

The following day, on December 5, 2024, Ambassador Chareontoh attended the Thai Networking: The Touch of THACCA event. This event featured the launch of the food documentary HIDDEN GEM SERIES, which showcases six renowned Thai restaurants and highlights the richness of Thai cuisine and culture. The documentary premiered on Netflix on December 5, 2024. In addition, the HIDDEN GEM FEST will take place from December 11 to 15, 2024, at ICONSIAM in Bangkok, celebrating the best of Thai culinary heritage.
