On 15 February 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Charoentoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, officiated the launch of the “Phuket Flavourscape Buffet”, a gastronomic journey into the rich culinary heritage of Thailand, especially from Phuket, the Pearl of the Andaman.

This special event, a collaboration between the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore and Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, is part of the activities to celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore, highlighting our deep cultural bonds and people-to-people ties, particularly through our shared Peranakan heritage.

The exceptional menu for the Buffet is the result of the excellent collaboration and creation of two outstanding chefs: Chef David Toh, the Executive Chef of the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, and Chef Witoon Kamonphun of M Social Phuket, from the iconic Tom Yum Goong—recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity—to bold innovations of future food, including Silkworm Thai Basil Pork Pizza and Crispy Cricket Onion Quiche.

Experience this extraordinary Thai culinary showcase now until 15 April 2025 at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore!
