On 3 March 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, welcomed Ms. Natalye Paquin, Chief Operating Officer, and Mr. Mark Wattley, Chief People Officer of The Rockefeller Foundation from its headquarters in New York, and co-hosted a networking dinner. The event was also attended by representatives from the Singaporean government, the private sector, philanthropists, and academia, who gathered to exchange insights on advancing sustainability efforts in the region.

 

The discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration between the public sector, private sector, and academia as a key mechanism for driving tangible and sustainable change. Additionally, the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into business operations was emphasized as a means of balancing economic growth, social development, and environmental conservation.
