On 15 May 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, welcomed H.E. Mr. Akanat Promphan, Minister of Industry of Thailand, and his delegation during their visit to Singapore to attend the 2025 Conference on International Industrial Cooperation. At the conference, the Minister delivered a keynote address highlighting Thailand’s strong potential to attract foreign investment amidst a rapidly changing global landscape, while underscoring the country’s strategic location as a key advantage.

 

Ambassador Ureerat also discussed with the Minister about ways to enhance industrial cooperation, strengthen investment promotion measures, and develop digital infrastructure to support the new economy and AI technologies in order to boost Thailand’s competitiveness and readiness to meet future economic challenges.
