On 12 March 2025, H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, together with the Embassy's staff, welcomed a delegation of 80 teachers and students from Hatyaiwittayalai School, Songkla Province, to the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore.

 

During the visit, the Ambassador delivered an overview of Singapore and the pivotal role of the Embassy in fostering robust relations between Thailand and Singapore, encompassing political, economic, social, and cultural dimensions. The Ambassador also discussed and responded to questions from the students, providing insights into diplomatic career paths and opportunities for further education in Singapore.

 

This visit to the Embassy was an integral component of Hatyaiwittayalai School's specialized Law and Political Science Program, the first of its kind in Southern Thailand and the third nationwide. The program champions experiential learning, enriching classroom studies with firsthand perspectives from seasoned diplomats. Students engage in specialized coursework, including modules on introductory political science, public law, private law, and comparative political systems of the East and West.
