AMBASSADOR OF THAILAND WAS THE GUEST OF HONOUR AT THE “TRAVELER’S CHOICE AWARD FOR DESTINATIONS 2013” ORGANIZED BY TRIPADVISOR AT THE FULLERTON

On 18 June 2013, Mr.Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, attended the Ceremony for “Traveler’s Choice Award for Destinations 2013” of Tripadvisor, together with Mrs. Jiraporn Jitpatima, Madame of the Ambassador, and representatives of Team Thailand in Singapore. In addition, Ambassador Jitpatima, Guest of Honour of the Ceremony, received the award for Bangkok as the number one destination in Asia from Tripadvisor. He made a remarks expressing the appreciation and thanks on behalf of Bangkok, Thai people and the Bangkokians to the Tripadvisor for the award.

In May this year, Tripadvisor announced through its website : www.tripadvisor.com on the result of the reviews and opinions of the travelers across the globe in determining Bangkok as the most popular destination in Asia. Chiang Mai is ranked number 6 out of 25 destinations in Asia chosen by Tripadvisor.
