On 22 September 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Singapore, presided over the opening ceremony of the Thai Labour Sports Day 2024 at Sembawang Recreation Centre. The event brought together approximately 150 Thai workers in Singapore, who competed in five sports: tug of war, chair ball, futsal, relay race, and sprint race.

In her remarks during the opening ceremony, the Ambassador expressed her appreciation to all the agencies involved in organising the event, particularly the Thai Labour Office in Singapore, the main organiser. The Royal Thai Embassy was delighted to support such a meaningful initiative, which not only encouraged Thai workers to stay physically active and maintain good health but also provided an opportunity for them to engage in creative activities, fostering unity within the Thai community in Singapore.
