On 19 March 2025, Dr. Sebastian Langendorf, Chief Executive Officer of Meranti Green Steel Co., Ltd., paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, to explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation between Thailand and Singapore’s green steel manufacturing industries within the framework of sustainability, carbon emission reduction in the industrial sector, and progress toward the Net Zero target.

 

Additionally, both parties exchanged perspectives on the integration of clean energy in steel manufacturing and discussed future opportunities including employment, transition to green economy, and human capital development aligned with market demand.
