On 7 August 2025, H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, delivered the opening remarks at the Pre-Departure Briefing for the delegation from the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) under the Overseas Market Workshop (OMW) Thailand 2025, held at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore. In her remarks, the Ambassador highlighted Thailand’s strong potential as a key economic partner for Singapore in the ASEAN region. On this occasion, Mr. Soo Wei-Chieh, Executive Director of SBF, emphasized the importance of the mission in deepening understanding of the Thai and broader ASEAN markets. Mrs. Natama Koonpol, Director of the Thai Trade Centre in Singapore, also provided an overview of ongoing trade promotion efforts between Thailand and Singapore. Participants also received a comprehensive briefing on Thailand’s economic outlook, business environment, and key investment opportunities from the Business Information Centre in Singapore.

The OMW Thailand 2025 programme, supported by Enterprise Singapore, is scheduled to take place from 17 to 23 August 2025. The programme aims to strengthen business linkages between Singaporean and Thai enterprises while offering in-depth insights into Thailand’s regulatory landscape, market trends, and growth opportunities.
