On 24 June 2024 Mr. Wachirachai Koonamwattana, Head of Smart System Solution Business of SCG Cement-Building Materials Co., Ltd. and his delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Charoentoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore at the Royal Thai Embassy, and introduced SCG’s business in Singapore. They also discussed future collaboration on the environment and sustainability, as well as opportunities in the development of SCG’s Smart Building Solutions in Singapore.

SCG Chemicals Trading (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of SCG in Thailand, was established in Singapore in 2000. Its business mainly focus on chemical trade and construction materials. SCG is looking for business expansion into Smart Energy Solutions within the real estate sector in Singapore.

On this occasion, Ambassador Ureerat shared her views on the current real estate market in Singapore, which prioritizes sustainability and the environment, and investment opportunities to complement the Singapore Green Plan. The Embassy is pleased with the successful performance of the Thai private sector and stands ready to support the Thai business community in Singapore.
