On October 29, 2023, Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Charge d'Affaires a.i., and members of Team Thailand in Singapore participated in the "Loy Kratong 2023" event at Town Plaza, UTown, National University of Singapore (NUS). The event was hosted by the Thai Language Programme, Centre for Language Studies, NUS, in collaboration with the NTU, SUSS, Samakkee Thai Klai Baan Society and the Thai Dance Society Singapore.
Loy Kratong is an annual event celebrated nationwide in Thailand to express gratitude to the goddess of water, “Phra Mae Khongkha" and to release troubles and worries into the river. It serves as a reminder of the beauty in letting go and starting a new day.
