On June 11, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, chaired the 2nd Team Thailand Meeting 2024 to exchange information and promote synergy among the Thai agencies in Singapore.

The Ambassador shared information about important missions and events during the last three months, such as courtesy calls to the President and Ministers of Singapore, the Shangri-La Dialogue, Songkran Festival, Thai Labor Day, and a launching event of the Thai movie, How to earn millions before grandma dies or "Lan Ma".

The meeting also discussed upcoming key activities including a series of events to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 72nd Birthday Anniversary and visits by high-level Thai representatives to Singapore, and familiarization trips to promote sustainable tourism and new routes in the Northeastern part of Thailand in order to encourage more tourists to visit Thailand. In addition, the Embassy will organise the Thai Market Festival and Muay Thai Festival in Singapore to showcase Thailand’s soft power. A Buddhist sermon will also be arranged in the coming weeks to promote mental health among the Thai community in Singapore.
