On 5 March 2026, Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., welcomed delegation from Thailand Science, Research and Innovation Promotion Office (TSRI), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nopbhorn Leeprechanon, Vice President of TSRI. The meeting served as a platform for policy discussion and exchange on leveraging science, research, and innovation as instruments of Science and Innovation Diplomacy between Thailand and Singapore.

On this occasion, the Chargé d'affaires shared an overview of Singapore's direction in science, research, and innovation, highlighting the Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) 2030 plan. Both parties also discussed how to create a comprehensive ecosystem that support research and innovation including strengthening education and talent development in science, providing research funding, attracting global experts and high-potential companies, and establishing a business-friendly regulatory environment that fosters innovation.
