Admiral Pairote Fuangchan, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, and his delegation, paid an official visit to Singapore from 23–25 February 2026. Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy, welcomed the delegation at the VIP Lounge of Changi Airport on 23 February 2026.

On this occasion, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. attended a courtesy call and meeting between Admiral Pairote and Mr. Chan Chun Sing, Singapore’s Minister for Defence, on 25 February 2026. Both sides reaffirmed the close and longstanding defence relations between Thailand and Singapore, and encouraged deeper bilateral cooperation between the two countries’ navies. The two sides also exchanged views on regional security developments and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in defence technology.
