On 24 January 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, and Mr. Loy Hui Chien, Director-General of Southeast Asia II Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, officially launched the logo commemorating 60 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore at the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening this enduring friendship.

 

The logo design blends the ‘elephant’, Thailand’s National Animal with the ‘lion’ a symbol of Singapore, as well as both countries’ national flags in to a ‘60’, representing the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore in 2025.

 

This year marks six decades of a remarkable partnership between Thailand and Singapore, which has flourished across all dimensions. The theme for the commemorative year is “Realising Opportunities for New Growth - Strong@60”.
