Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore visited Thai workers' dormitories at SCAL Hougang

As one of the consular activities of the Royal Thai Embassy and the Office of Labour Affairs, Ambassador of Thailand assigned Mrs. Thanaporn Siritemkul, Minister Counselor (Labour Affairs), in cooperation with the Royal Thai Embassy and Thai Labour’s Volunteers, to visit Thai workers at Scal Hougang on 21 March 2014 between 20.00 – 22.00 hrs. Around 57 Thai workers attended the Embassy’s activities.

On this occasion, the team provided workers with consular service information, invited them to exercise their voting rights at the overseas general election for the Senate of Thailand at the Embassy in the upcoming weekend of 22 – 23 March 2014, as well as providing them with sports equipment, blood pressure check-up, to which 28 workers attended the service, and consultation service on workers’ rights, laws and regulations in Singapore, and how to stay healthy physically and mentally.
