Thailand-Singapore hold 7th STEER meeting to expand economic oooperation

 

On 14 March 2025, H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, attended the 7th Singapore-Thailand Enhanced Economic Relationship (STEER) Meeting, co-chaired by H.E. Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce of Thailand, and Dr. Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry of Singapore.

 

During the meeting, both sides discussed mutual areas of interest, including agri-trade cooperation, investment opportunities, digital economy development, carbon credits collaboration, intellectual property cooperation, and tourism promotion.

 

The Thai delegation also held discussions with regional private sector representatives to explore economic opportunities between the two countries, particularly in high-quality agricultural exports and data center collaboration.
