DTV VISA

Thai soft power related activities              

e.g. Muaythai, Thai culinary training and medical treatment

Required Documents:

***Important*** Complete the Online Visa Application (OVA) at least 21 working days before the intended date of travel

  1. Biodata page of passport or traveller document (valid for at least 6 months)
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months (1 photo 4x6 cm)
  3. Document indicating current location in Singapore and Planned accommodation in Thailand

        * Lease/Rental agreement related to the place you staying in Singapore or Title deed

        * Accommodation booking the hotel, House registration (Blue book) or Title deed in Thailand

     4.Financial evidence: Bank saving statements balance at least 500,000 THB or equivalent from the last 2 months

and print out the latest balance, not older than 1 week, when you submit the documents in person at the embassy

  1. Proof of salary slip/monthly income
  2. Proof of confirmation to attend the activity.

        6.1 Muaythai: Letter from Muay Thai camp to Board of Boxing Sport to confirm the training at the boxing school.

(School/Gyms will Provide Documents for Applicants)

        6.2 Thai Culinary Training: Letter from school for the enrolment of the course

        6.3 Medical Treatment: Letter of appointment from hospital/medical centre

  1. The company/organization’s registration documents e.g. Business license, Affidavit, School license etc.

        7.1 Muaythai: Letter from Sports Authority of Thailand and Ministry of Tourism and Sports

        7.2 Thai Culinary Training: School license, Business license or Affidavit

        7.3 Medical Treatment: Business license, Affidavit

  1. Applicant’s long-term pass (Employment Pass, S Pass etc.) must upload both front and back of the pass

         -The Long-term pass must be valid for at least 1 year

  1. Scan the QR code behind the long-term pass to show expiry date and take a screenshot of the full data
  2. For Permanent Residence in Singapore: Blue Identity card and Re-entry Permit (Form 7)
  3. Other documents: as may be requested by Consular officers in addition to the documents above.
  4. Visa type select OTHER and purpose of visit Thailand DTV SOFT POWER 

Please note that Consular officers reserve the right to require additional documents, or an interview, as deemed necessary, without prior notice. The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right not to accept any visa.

-Eligibility-

***Note: If you are not residing in Singapore, Applicants are kindly requested to apply for a visa in their Country of residence

***Note: Foreign bank statement need to submit a letter from the bank stating the balance equivalent to Singapore or US Dollars.  (IN ENGLISH VERSION)

- FEE 500 SGD for Multiple Entry visa with validity of 5 years. CASH ONLY

- DTV visa allow the visa holder to stay in Thailand for up to 180 days for each entry into Thailand.

(Can be renewal at the Thai Immigration Police Office for another 180 days of stay)

Application whereby any required document is absent. If the above procedures are not completed, the official will not proceed with your application.
