LONG-TERM RESIDENT (LTR)

 

Board of Investment (BOI)

          -  Please visit this website for more information regarding LTR Visa : LTR Visa Thailand (boi.go.th)

          -  Requesting LRT Visa need to be submitted to BOI

          -  Qualifications Endorsement within 21 working days after having received complete documents, applicants will be notified of the result.

          -  After receiving approval letter from BOI, applicants can submit e-visa

 

*** Important*** Complete the e-Visa application at least 21 working days before the intended of travel

Note: All nationals which don’t have a “Family name” must fill in the entire name in the “First name” box in the e-Visa application form and leave “Family name” box blank. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of your e-Visa application.

 

Required Documents  : 

          1.  Passport: Valid no less than 6 months.

          2.  Photograph taken within the last 6 months.

          3.  Flight ticket to Thailand

          4.  Approval letter from BOI

          5.  Applicant’s long-term pass must upload both front and back of the pass.

(e.g. Singapore Blue IC and Re-Entry Permit Form 7 for Singapore’s Permanent Residents, Employment Pass, Personalized Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, Entry pass, Training Employment Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long Term Social Visit Pass, or Professional Visit Pass).                                                                        

***The Long-term pass must be valid for at least two months, if you have renewed your Long-term pass please submit approval from Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

            6.  Scan the QR code behind the long-term pass to show expiry date and take a screenshot of the full data until card serial number.

            7.  For Permanent Residence in Singapore: Blue Identity Card and Re-entry Permit (Form 7)

            8.  Applicant’s family members who are traveling together - Namely spouse, parents or children who are unmarried and under 20 years old , are eligible to apply for Single-Entry Non-Immigrant O-visa. Required documents are the same as required documents for LTR visa.

Plus : Marriage certificate and Birth certificate.

          - In foreign language to be translated in to English 

          - Document issued by Non-Thai and Non- Singaporean Authorities MUST be certified by the its Embassy prior to submission

*Civil partnership certificate is not acceptable.

               

All documents: Documents in languages other than Thai or English have to be translated into either Thai or English and notarised by notary organs or relevant diplomatic/consular missions.

Note :  Consular officers reserve the right to require additional documents or an interview with the applicant as deemed necessary without prior notice.

Remark: 

  • Applicant from Nigeria must submit letter from employer and certificate of Clearance issued by the National Drug Law Enfrocement Agency of Nigeria (NDLEA) that is certified by Nigerian Misistry of Foreign Affairs and Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja
  • For Nigeria who has residence in Singapore or Long-term pass holding may contact Criminal Investigation Department(CID) under Singapore Police Force for Certificate of Clearance (COC) in English Version.
