Non-Immigrant Visa-B (Business)

  • This type of visa is provided for foreigners who
    • wish to conduct business in Thailand OR
    • invest in condominiums in Thailand OR
    • have a Thai bank account or purchase a Thai government bond with the equivalent amount of not less than 3 million Baht.

    a. Validity

    1. Single-Entry: Valid for 90 days after the date of application. 
    2. Multiple-Entry:Valid for 1 year after the date of application (90 days maximum per stay). This type of Visa will only be granted to those who wish to visit Thailand for short business trips and do not seek to be employed in Thailand. Additonal requirements : Agenda/Schedule dates from both companies in Singapore and Thailand within 1 year for consideration.
    3. In case of extension of stay and re-entry permit, visa holders may contact the Immigration Bureau of Thailand after entering Thailand.     

     b. Required Documents 

     Complete the Online Visa Application (OVA) at least 21 working days before the intended date of travel:              

http://visaonline.thaiembassy.sg/  The required documents are as follow:

  1. Passport: Valid no less than 6 months. For Multiple valid for 1 year.
  2. Business-related Documents:

           1.Business meetings

    1. Documents from the company/Organization in Thailand
      1. Letter of invitation*, stating the objective and the period of the stay in Thailand
      2. For applicants who wish to request for multiple entry will need to indicate the agenda date of entry and exit within 1 year
      3. The company/organization’s registration documents
        • Business license
        • Affidafit 
        • Value added Tax (VAT) registration document (Phor-Phor 20)
        • Latest Balance Sheet (Financial Statement)
    2. Documents from the current employer in Singapore
      1. Original letter from the current employer * of the applicant, confirming the current position,salary, and the objective of the visit to Thailand
      2. For applicants who wish to request for multiple entry will need to indicate the agenda date of entry and exit within 1 year
      3. The company/organization’s registration documents:
        1. In case of the company sponsoring all expenses for the applicant, the letter of sponsoring has to indicate details of employment of the applicant.   
        2. Business profile from ACRA
      4. **Copies of company documents must be signed by authorized person and affixed the company seal

        ***All letters must be typed in the company’s letterhead and signed by authorized person

            c. In case of self-employment, an original bank statement of the applicant, which shows a balace with an equivalent amount of not less than 500,000 Baht maintain for the last 6 months. 

            2. Non-Thai nationals who have owned condominium / apartment value USD$100,000 or 3 million baht or more        

    1. A copy of title deed or ownership documents of the condominium owned by the applicant
    2. An original bank statement of the applicant, which shows a balance with the equivalent amount of not less than 500,000 Baht maintain for the last 6 months.

            3. Non-Thai nationals who have been invested in government bond or held saving accounts in Thailand with of at least USD$100,000

            ormillion baht    

             a. Evidence of money transmission and copy of bank book of the bank account in Thailand with an equivalent amount of not less than 3 million Baht maintain for the last 6 months; or Thai government bond with an equivalent amount of not less than 3 million Baht maintain for the last 6 months.

             b. An original bank statement of the applicant, which shows a balance with the equivalent amount of not less than 500,000 Baht maintain for the last 6 months.

    III. A copy of round trip flight ticket(s).

    IV. Singapore’s Long-term pass: If applicable, a copy of the applicant’s long-term pass (e.g. Singapore Blue IC and Re-Entry Permit Form 7 for Singapore’s Permanent Residents, Employment Pass, Personalized Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, Entry pass, Training Employment Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long Term Social Visit Pass, or Professional Visit Pass).                                                                        

The Long-term pass must be valid for at least two months, if you have renewed your Long-term pass please submit approval from Misnistry of Manpower (MOM).

     V. Application fee (Non-refundable) in Cash only

    1. Single-Entry Non-Immigrant Visa-B: S$100 
    2. Multiple-Entry Non-Immigrant Visa-B (Valid for One Year): S$250 

    VI. Other documents: as may be requested by Consular officers in addition to the documents above. Please note that Consular officers reserve the right to require additional documents, or an interview, as deemed necessary, without prior notice.

    VII. Applicants are required to print 1 Application form and bring in 1 recent photograph(s) size 3.5x4.5 cm. 

     VIII. All documents: Documents in languages other than Thai or English have to be translated into either Thai or English and notarised by notary organs or relevant diplomatic / consular missions. Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate have to be certified by its embassy.

Remark: Applicant from Nigeria must submit letter from employer and certificate of Clearance issued by the National Drug Law Enfrocement Agency of Nigeria (NDLEA) that is certified by Nigerian Misistry of Foreign Affairs and Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja

The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right not to accept any visa application whereby any required document is absent. If the above procedures are not completed, the official will not proceed with your application.
