Non-Immigrant Visa-ED may be granted to applicants who wish to pursue their full-time education, internship or any other educational programme in Thailand.
Validity: 90 days after the date of application. Visa holders may contact the Immigration Bureau of Thailand, after entering Thailand, for the extension of stay and re-entry permit.
*** Important*** Complete the e-Visa application at least 21 working days before the intended of travel

Note: All nationals which don’t have a “Family name” must fill in the entire name in the “First name” box in the e-Visa application form and leave “Family name” box blank. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of your e-Visa application.
Required documents:
1. Passport: Valid no less than 6 months.
2. Photograph taken within the last 6 months.
3. Flight ticket round trip
4. Applicant’s long-term pass must upload both front and back of the pass.
(e.g. Singapore Blue IC and Re-Entry Permit Form 7 for Singapore’s Permanent Residents, Employment Pass, Personalized Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, Entry pass, Training Employment Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long Term Social Visit Pass, or Professional Visit Pass).
***The Long-term pass must be valid for at least two months, if you have renewed your Long-term pass please submit approval from Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
5. Scan the QR code behind the long-term pass to show expiry date and take a screenshot of the full data until card serial number.
6. For Permanent Residence in Singapore: Blue Identity Card and Re-entry Permit (Form 7)
7. Letter from the school, training institution or company in Thailand (Original) – The letter must be type in the school/company’s letter head signed by authorized person and a copy of School license or business registration (Copies of documents must be signed by authorized person and affixed the seal).
Thai language and cultural training courses, applicants must provide documents which demonstrate that the course meets the minimum requirement as follows: - If the course is no longer than 5 months, the period of study at least 4 days per week, 2 hours per day. - If the course is longer than 5 months, the period of study at least 5 days per week, 5 hours per day.
8. Certificate of Clearance or Criminal record clearance (English version), dated not more than 3 months.
For those who will study in University or higher education programme.
9. Evidence of adequate finance: an original bank saving statement which states bank contact information and deposit with the equivalent amount of not less than 3,000 SGD for the last 2 months.
(Foreign bank statement need to submit a letter from the bank stating the balance equivalent to Singapore or US Dollars)
All documents: Documents in languages other than Thai or English have to be translated into either Thai or English and notarised by notary organs or relevant diplomatic / consular missions have to be certified by its Embassy.
