NON-IMMIGRANT VISA-O (Guardian)

 

Non-Immigrant Visa-O : May be granted to applicants who are parents of students (under 20 years old) who have enrolled for a full-time long-term educational course in Thailand are eligible to apply for Single-Entry Non-Immigrant O-visa. 

Validity:

         • Single-Entry Non-Immigrant Visa-O: 90 days after the date of application. Visa holders may contact the Immigration Bureau of Thailand, after entering Thailand, for the extension of stay and re-entry permit.

 

***Important***Completed the e-Visa Application at least 21 working days before the intended date of travel

Required Documents :

          1.  Passport: Valid no less than 6 months.

          2.  Photograph taken within the last 6 months.

          3.  A copy of flight ticket(s) to Thailand.

          4.  Applicant’s long-term pass must upload both front and back of the pass .

(e.g. Singapore Blue IC and Re-Entry Permit Form 7 for Singapore’s Permanent Residents, Employment Pass, Personalized Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, Entry pass, Training Employment Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long Term Social Visit Pass, or Professional Visit Pass).                                                                        

***The Long-term pass must be valid for at least two months, if you have renewed your Long-term pass please submit approval from Misnistry of Manpower (MOM).

          5.  Scan the QR code behind the long-term pass to show expiry date and take a screenshot of the full data until card serial number.

          6.  For Permanent Residence in Singapore: Blue Identity Card and Re-entry Permit (Form 7)

          7.  A Letter from the school stating the objective and the period of the stay in Thailand. 

               7.1  The letter must be type in the school/company’s letter head signed by authorized person and 

               7.2  A copy of school license and business registration

(Copies of documents must be signed by authorized person and affixed the seal).

          8. Bank Saving Account : 500,000 Baht deposit in a bank account per PARENT for the last 2 months

(Foreign bank statement need to submit a letter from the bank stating the balance equivalent to Singapore or US Dollars)

          9. Documents showing family relations

Plus: - Birth certificate or Marriage certificate in foreign language to be translated in to English
         - The documents issued by Non-Thai and Non-Singaporean MUST be certified by its Embassy prior to submission.

*Civil partnership certificate is not acceptable.

 

All documents: Documents in languages other than Thai or English have to be translated into either Thai or English and notarised by notary organs or relevant diplomatic/consular missions.

Note: Consular officers reserve the right to require additional documents or an interview as deemed necessary without prior notice.

Remark:

  • Applicant from Nigeria must submit letter from employer and certificate of Clearance issued by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of Nigeria (NDLEA) that is certified by Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja
  • For Nigeria who has residence in Singapore or Long-term pass holding may contact CID department for certificate of clearance
