NON-IMMIGRANT VISA-O (THAI SPOUSE)

 

         Non-Immigrant Visa-O may be granted to applicants who are lawfully married to a Thai citizen. Please check your eligibility to apply for visa at the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore, at Instructions for visa application

Types and Validity:

         - Single-Entry: 90 days after the date of issue. Visa holders may contact the Immigration Bureau of Thailand, after entering Thailand, for the extension of stay and re-entry permit.

         - Multiple-Entry: Valid for 1 year after the date of issue (90 days maximum per day stay). 

         - In case of extension of stay and re-entry permit, visa holders may contact the Immigration Bureau of Thailand after entering Thailand. 

          Required documents for Non-Immigrant Visa-O applicants are as follows:

1. Visa Application form(s) and photograph(s): Completed the Online Visa Application (OVA) at least 21 working days before the intended date of travel (http://visaonline.thaiembassy.sg/), sign Visa Application form as well as bring recent photographs (size 3.5x4.5 cm).

    Remark: Applicant from Nigeria must submit letter from employer and certificate of Clearance issued by the National Drug Law Enfrocement Agency of Nigeria (NDLEA) that is certified by Nigerian Misistry of Foreign Affairs and Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja

    **The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to reject any visa application with insufficient documents or if the reasons given are not fully supported. The visa fee is non-refundable**

 

2. Passport (valid no less than 6 months)

3. Copy of Marriage Certificate (document issued by Non-Thai and Non-Singaporean authorities must be certified by its Embassy prior to submission), Passport and Identity Card of the Applicant’s Thai spouse (Copies of documents must be signed by the Thai Spouse)

4. A Letter from the Applicant’s Thai spouse 

5. Bank statement 

    - At least 400,000 Baht or equivalent (16,000 SGD) maintain for the last 2 months for Multiple entry 

    - At least 125,000 Bath or equivalent (5,000 SGD) maintain for the last 2 months for Single entry

6. A copy of flight ticket(s).

7. Singapore’s Long-term pass: If applicable, a copy of the applicant’s long-term pass (e.g. Singapore Blue IC and Re-Entry Permit Form 7 (for Singapore’s Permanent Residents), Employment Pass, Personalised Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, Entry pass, Training Employment Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long Term Social Visit Pass, or Professional Visit Pass). 

The Long-term pass must be valid for at least two months, if you have renewed your Long-term pass please submit approval from Misnistry of Manpower (MOM).

8. Application fee: S$100 for Single Entry (Cash only in Singapore Dollars)

9. Other documents: as may be requested by Consular officers in addition to the documents above. Please note that Consular officers reserve the right to require additional documents, or an interview, as deemed necessary, without prior notice. The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right not to accept any visa application whereby any required document is absent. If the above procedures are not completed, the official will not proceed with your application.

All documents: Documents in languages other than Thai or English have to be translated into either Thai or English and notarised by notary organs or relevant diplomatic/consular missions.
