Tourist Visa (TR)

Tourist Visa (TR) may be granted to visitors for tourism purposes in Thailand.

Validity

  • Period of stay in Thailand not exceeding 60 days
  • Single-Entry: valid within 3 months from the date of issue.
  • Multiple-Entry: valid within 6 months from the date of the issue. The period of stay is 60 days maximum per entry. (Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa holder may enter Thailand again as long as the visa is still valid)

**IMPORTANT** Complete the Online Visa Application (OVA) at least 21 working days before the intended date of travel

  1. Passport: valid for more than 6 months
  2. Travel Itinerary: 
    1. Single Entry: Round trip flight tickets with name of the airlines or cruise company, passenger name(s), arrival, and departure date. 
      Note: 
      - For cruise, travel itinerary is required 
      - Car trip: Vehicle log card, Itinerary summary letter with applicant’s signature addressed to Royal Thai Embassy for your entire trip to Thailand
    2. Multiple- Entry: Confirmed tickets of the first trip and travel itinerary letter for the next 6 months with applicant’s signature addressed to Royal Thai Embassy for consideration.
  3. Accommodation for the entire of stay in Thailand
    1. Hotel: Booking with the hotel's name, address, list of guest names, check-in and check-out dates. 
    2. Other residence:  Invitation letter, copy of inviter passport or ID card with signature. (Please also attach residential document/house registration)
  4. Financial Statement with bank letterhead, account holder name, transaction, and balance: 
    1. Single-Entry: Bank saving statement for the past 2 months to maintain balance at least 1,000 SGD (per person) and 3,000 SGD (per family)
    2. Multiple-Entry: Bank saving statement for the past 6 months to maintain balance at least 8,000 SGD (per person), and Employment Verification Letter
      Note: Foreign bank statement need to submit a letter from the bank stating the balance equivalent to Singapore or US Dollars.
      For Family Travel/Sponsoring:
    3. Documents showing family relations such as a copy of birth certificate or marriage certificate is required.
      Note:  The documents from Non- Thai and Non- Singaporean MUST be certified by respective embassy prior the submission of the documents
    4. Sponsor Letter 
  5. Singapore’s Long-term pass: If applicable, a copy front and back of the applicant’s long-term pass including the expiry date (e.g. Singapore Blue IC and Re-Entry Permit Form 7 for Singapore’s Permanent Residents, Employment Pass, Personalized Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, Entry pass, Training Employment Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long Term Social Visit Pass, or Professional Visit Pass). 
    Note: The Long-term pass must be valid for at least 2 months, if you have renewed your Long-term pass, please submit approval from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)

  6. A yellow fever vaccination certificate. (List of countries that require, Click here)
  7. Application fee (Non-refundable) in CASH ONLY: 
    1. Single-Entry: 50 SGD
    2. Multiple-Entry: 250 SGD
  8. Once the submitted documents online are reviewed, applicants are required to print these following documents and bring them to the Royal Thai Embassy on the appointment date.
    1. Application form*
    2. Recent photograph(s) (size 3.5x4.5 cm.)*
    3. A copy of documents that mentioned above (from No. 1-6)
  9. Other documents: as may be requested by Consular officers in addition to the documents above. *Please note that Consular officers reserve the right to require additional documents*, or an interview with the applicant, as deemed necessary, without prior notice.

Remark: Applicant from Nigeria must submit letter from employer and Certificate of Clearance issued by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of Nigeria (NDLEA) that is certified by Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja
