TRANSIT VISA


Transit Visa (TS) may be granted to passengers in transit in Thailand and non-professional juvenile visiting Thailand for sport competition.

Validity: Transit Visa is valid for 90 days after the date of issue (30 days maximum per stay)

 

*** Important*** Complete the e-Visa application at least 21 working days before the intended of travel

Note: All nationals which don’t have a “Family name” must fill in the entire name in the “First name” box in the e-Visa application form and leave “Family name” box blank. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of your e-Visa application.

 

Required documents:

          1. Passport (valid for no less than 6 months)

          2. Photograph taken within the last 6 months

          3. Travel tickets in and out of Thailand

          4. Evidence of adequate finance ( approximatly 1000 SGD per person and 3000 SGD per family)

          5. Visa of a third country (where the applicant will travel to after Thailand) in the passport or travel document

          6. In case of non-professional juvenile sport players visiting Thailand for sport competition, letter of invitation
stating the applicant's sporting activities in Thailand is required.

          7. Singapore's Long-term pass: A copy of the applicant's long-term pass must upload both front and back of the pass.

(e.g. Singapore Blue IC and Re-Entry Permit Form 7 (for Singapore's Permanent Residents), Employment Pass, Personalised
Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, Entry pass, Training Employment Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass,
Long Term Social Visit Pass, or Professional Visit Pass). 

***The Long-term pass must be valid for at least two months, if you have renewed your Long-term pass please submit approval from Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

          8. Scan the QR code behind the long-term pass to show expiry date and take a screenshot of the full data until card serial number.

         9. For Permanent Residence in Singapore: Blue Identity Card and Re-entry Permit (Form 7)

 

All documentsDocuments in languages other than Thai or English have to be translated into either Thai or English and notarised by notary organs or relevant diplomatic/consular missions.

Note :  Consular officers reserve the right to require additional  documents or an interview as deemed necessary

without prior notice.

Remark:

  • Applicant from Nigeria must submit letter from employer and certificate of Clearance issued by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of Nigeria (NDLEA) that is certified by Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja
  • For Nigeria who has residence in Singapore or Long-term pass holder may contact Criminal Investigation Department(CID) under Singapore Police Force for Certificate of Clearance (COC) in English Version
