On 1 May, 2026, Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d’Affair, a.i., presided over the opening ceremony of the 2026 Thai Labour Day in Singapore. The event was jointly organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, the Labour Office in Singapore, and the Assurance, Care and Engagement (ACE) Group, Ministry of Manpower. More than 1,000 Thai and foreign workers participated in the event.

 

On this occasion, Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul expressed her appreciation to Thai and Singaporean agencies, both public and private, as well as the Thai communities for their support and collaboration in organising the event. She noted that the gathering not only served as an opportunity for Thai workers to meet and socialise but also offered informative activities and useful advice on employment and ways to improve quality of life in Singapore.
