On 3 November 2024, H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, attended the commencement ceremony of the ASEAN Youth Fellowship (AYF). The event, a leadership development program co-organized by the National Youth Council Singapore (NYC) and the Singapore International Foundation (SIF), welcomed Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information and Ministry of Health, as the Guest of Honour. During the ceremony, Ambassador Ureerat also had the opportunity to meet with participants from Thailand.

 

The ASEAN Youth Fellowship aims to grow and connect emerging young leaders from across ASEAN, with a focus on fostering collaboration between the public, private, and people sectors. Inspired by the theme of Laos’ ASEAN Chairmanship for 2024, “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience,” this year’s programme emphasized innovation and creativity as key drivers of growth in the region.
