Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presents letter of credence to the president of Singapore

On 26 February 2015, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand presented to H.E. Dr. Tony Tan Keng Yam, President of the Republic of Singapore, the Letter of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Singapore. Ambassador Bunnag was accompanied by Mrs. Yupadee Bunnag, his spouse, Captain Anupong Taprasob, RTN, Defence and Naval Attaché, and Ms. Kasama Suebwises, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy.

After the Presentation of Credentials Ceremony at Istana, Ambassador Bunnag and President Tan exchanged views on the existing close and cordial relations between Thailand and Singapore, as well as on the constructive cooperation between the two countries. Ambassador Bunnag expressed his gratitude to the Singaporean Government for the honour and the warm hospitality extended to him. He also thanked the Singaporean Government for the kind gesture she had extended during the Royal Visits as well as other governmental visits. On this occasion, Ambassador Bunnag congratulated Singapore on her 50th Anniversary of Independence, and for the 50th Anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries. Furthermore, both sides were able to discuss about future cooperations to commemorate this special year.
