On 7 March 2014, H.E. Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, joined the “Amazing Thailand Road Show 2014” at the Regent Singapore Hotel as the Guest-of-Honour. The one-day event, organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Singapore Office), was aimed towards creating business matching opportunities for Thai tourism businesses and tour agents and airlines in Singapore, as well as introducing a number of new tourist attractions in Thailand to Singaporean targets.

On this occasion, Ambassador of Thailand gave a welcoming speech, reassuring participants of the attractiveness and charm of Thai tourist destinations and the political situation which no longer obstructs tourism in Bangkok. He also drew attention to the figure of 936,477 Singaporean visitors who travelled to Thailand last year – an increase of 12.66% from 2012 and thanked all agents and airlines for their continued support and contribution to such success.

At the event, several lucky draw prizes have been won, including tour packages and airline tickets to Thailand.
