On 26 July 2014 at 19.30 hrs, Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, attend the 2nd Steinway Regional Finals Asia Pacific gala concert at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. Among the contestants were Kant Kosotrakul from Thailand, winner of the Thailand Steinway Youth Piano Competition, who received second runner-up prize. Also present at the concert were Thailand’s Steinway dealers Mr. Pete and Dr. Yonsak Lochotinan, as well as Ms. Celine Goh, Chairlady of the Regional Finals and General Manager of Steinway Gallery Singapore. The winner from this contest will become the Asia Pacific’s candidate for the International Steinway Festival in Hamburg, Germany, in September this year.
