On 27 February 2013, Mr.Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, chaired the annual meeting attended by representatives of Thai Association in Singapore, International Thai Chefs’ Association in Singapore, Friends of Thai Workers Association (Singapore) and Thai Language Study of National University of Singapore at Baan Beer Thai Restaurant at the Beach Road.

            The main objective of this meeting is to discuss and synchronize activities and projects to promote Thailand and Thai culture in Singapore as well as to assist Thais in Singapore. The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore is the main supporter of such activities and projects. 

            Interesting promotional activities and projects in Singapore throughout the year 2013 are on Thailand and her arts and culture, Thai cuisine, film industry and export promotion.
