On 24 February 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, met with Mr. Kadir Maideen, CEO of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS), to discuss ongoing collaboration following the earlier discussions between H.E. Mr. Tawee Sodsong, Minister of Justice of Thailand, and Mr. Masagos Zulkifli, Minister-in-Charge of Muslim Affairs, on the sidelines of the 2nd International Conference on Communities of Success (ICCOS) in October 2024.

The discussions focused on enhancing capacity-building for the Muslim community in Thailand through knowledge exchange and learning from MUIS's best practices in inclusive governance. Plans include expert exchanges and study trips to explore Singapore's model of applying Islamic principles to address social needs.

This partnership underscores the commitment of both Thailand and Singapore to fostering interfaith dialogue, strengthening community resilience, and promoting sustainable peace in the region.
