On February 23, 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, presided over the opening ceremony for the 2025 labour volunteer training, organised by the Office of Labour Affairs at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore.

At the event, the Ambassador presented an award of Outstanding Volunteer to Ms. Suthita Nimsuwan for her exceptional dedication in 2024 and delivered opening remarks by emphasising the labour volunteers’ role in enabling the provision of support and assistance to Thai workers in Singapore. The Ambassador also thanked the volunteers for their tireless work and contribution to the Embassy’s activities, including the ones to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore to be organised this whole year.

The training sessions covered a wide range of useful topics, including Singapore's labour laws, consular services provided by the Embassy, smart agriculture promotion, and basic healthcare guidelines.
