On 17 July 2025, Her Excellency Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, led officials from the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Singapore in a volunteer activity to honour His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 73rd Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2025.

On this occasion, the delegation made a charitable donation to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, comprising 73 kilograms of rice (symbolising His Majesty’s 73rd Birthday Anniversary), back massagers, as well as various essential items such as adult diapers, wet wipes, herbal tea, and beverages from Thailand. The delegation also visited and offered encouragement to patients recovering from surgery, along with presenting care packages to uplift their spirits.

In addition, the delegation toured the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Heritage Museum, which features medical artefacts and historical exhibits. The group was warmly welcomed by the hospital’s senior executives as well as Mr. Roney Tan, a descendant of Mr. Tan Tock Seng, the hospital’s founder. The visit highlighted the long-standing historical ties between the Tan family and Thailand since the reign of King Rama IV.
