On 9 May 2013, Mr.Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, Madame Jiraporn Jitpatima and members of Team Thailand in Singapore attended the opening ceremony of “Experiencing Thailand 2013” at NTUC Fairprice Hypermarket at Hougang organized by the Office of the Commercial Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore. He was warmly welcomed by Ms. Buniga Chamsai, Minister Counsellor (Commercial) and the Team as well as the executive officers of the NTUC Fairprice.

Ambassador of Thailand, together with Mr. Seah Kian Peng, CEO and Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and MP of Marine Parade GRC, and Minister Counsellor (Commercial), joined in to officially open “Experiencing Thailand 2013” with the dramatic strikes on the Thai gong and followed by Thai cultural dance and food. He inspected the Thai products participating in “Experiencing Thailand 2013” such as Thai Hom Mali Rice with distinguished certified logo from the Department of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, Thai White Rice, canned goods, processed food, frozen products, chilled ready to eat sticky rice with mango and durian and fresh vegetable and fruits.
