On 19 March 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, attended a working luncheon between Ambassadors and Head of Missions of the European Union (EU) and ASEAN members, hosted by H.E. Iwonka Piórko, Ambassador of the EU to Singapore, at Shangri-La Rasa in Sentosa, Singapore. The working luncheon saw the participation of over 30 Ambassadors and Heads of Missions from ASEAN and EU Member States.

The working luncheon aimed to capitalize on the positive outcomes of the 24th EU-ASEAN Ministerial Meeting held in Brussels, Belgium, in February 2024. It provided a platform for ASEAN and EU Ambassadors and Heads of Missions to exchange views on the ongoing cooperation across various areas, as well as to foster a strong network among the Diplomatic Missions in Singapore.
