On July 8, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 South East Asian Amateur Golf Team Championship. During the event, the Ambassador met with the Thai National Team, and extended a warm welcome, support and encouragement for the Team's upcoming competition.

On July 13, 2024, Ambassador Ureerat hosted a lunch for the Team at the historical grounds of the Royal Thai Embassy, which reflects the long and lasting relationship between Thailand and Singapore, to congratulate them for their outstanding achievement of winning 2 Cups.
