Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore had a working lunch with Mr. Jimmy Koh, Managing Director and Head of Networking Partnerships and Strategic Marketing Group Foreign Direct Investment Advisory of UOB, and his team to discuss on the potential areas of cooperation to expand and attract more investment to Thailand.

Ambassador Ureerat emphasized the investment opportunities in Thailand, highlighting potential expansions across various targeted industries. The private sector in Singapore plays a crucial role in fostering economic relations between the two countries as Singapore is the second-largest investor in Thailand after China. Both parties have agreed to collaborate on future initiatives aimed at building awareness and interest among Singaporean companies and foreign investors to explore investment opportunities in Thailand.
