On 7 May 2024, Ambassador Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, called on Mr. Stanley Loh, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, upon her assumption of duty.

Both sides welcomed the robust and cordial relations between Thailand and Singapore, as well as close cooperation under the ASEAN frameworks. They further discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various area related to environment and sustainability, including food security, waste management, and transboundary haze pollution.
