On 8 May 2025, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, co-hosted a reception on board Royal Thai Navy Ship, H.T.M.S. Prachuap Khiri Khan at Changi Naval Base, on the occasion of the ship’s participation in the International Maritime Defence Exhibition (IMDEX Asia) 2025.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador highlighted the strong and longstanding ties between Thailand and Singapore, with defence cooperation being a key pillar of the bilateral relations. She also underscored Thailand’s commitment to fostering maritime security and cooperation at the regional and international levels.

 

In addition, on 4 May 2025, the Ambassador also hosted a dinner at the Ambassador’s Residence in honour of Rear Admiral Sunsern Sadod, Commander of the First Frigate Squadron, Royal Thai Navy, and the crew of H.T.M.S. Prachuap Khiri Khan.
