On 17 August 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore led officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, along with officials of Team Thailand, in providing food for the elderly, as part of a volunteering activity on the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother's Birthday Anniversary 12 August 2024. The activity was carried out in collaboration with the Saturday Movement, a Singaporean charity group that aims to improve the livelihood of underprivileged Singaporean elders, by providing Thai foods and snacks to more than 400 Singaporean seniors in Bukit Merah HDB Estate.
