On 21 March 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dato’ Dr. Azfar Bin Mohamad Mustafar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore. Both sides exchanged views on the close and cordial ties between Thailand and Malaysia, as well as robust partnership with Singapore. They also discussed the ongoing cooperation with Singapore in various areas such as, trade, food import, facilitation of cross-border travels, establishment of Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) and cooperation on renewable energy. Both Thailand and Singapore are important neighboring countries of Malaysia.
