On 20 March 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Sok Khoeun, Ambassador of Cambodia to Singapore. Both sides exchanged views on the close and cordial ties between Thailand and Cambodia as important neighboring countries. They also discussed the ongoing cooperation with Singapore in various areas such as, exchanges of leaders’ visits, cooperation on renewable energy in order to import electricity to Singapore, as well as trade and investment. Currently, Singapore is the fourth largest foreign investor in Cambodia, while Thailand ranks the ninth.
