On 2 April 2015 at 18.30 hrs., H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, presided over the opening night of the Songkran and Thai Food Festival at Farrer Hotel & Spa. The event is jointly organized by Farrer Hotel & Spa and Thai Association in Singapore during 2-16 April 2015 in celebration of the Songkran period in many Southeast Asian countries. At the opening night, Ambassador Bansarn gave an opening speech, which was followed by the ‘rod nam dum hua’ ceremony, traditional Thai dance performance by Thai Dance Society in Singapore, and Thai food showcase by chefs from Thailand Culinary Academy. Also attending the event were Ambassadors from ASEAN Missions in Singapore, spouse of Ambassador of Thailand, Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand staff.
