On 7 August 2014, at 18.00 hrs., Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, presided over the flag-off ceremony for over 35 Porsche cars from Porsche Club Singapore that joined the ‘Drive of the Year (DOTY) Singapore-Samui” overland drive event. Ambassador Marut also gave welcome remarks to Mr. Daniel Chow, the Club’s President and its members, at the Royal Thai Embassy. The event was organized by Tourism Authority of Thailand in Singapore to promote overland drive routes from Singapore to Koh Samui in southern Thailand.
