On 9 July 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Charoentoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore visited the WorldInvent Singapore 2024 (WoSG) at Singapore Expo, organized from 9 – 11 July 2024. At this event, the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) brought 33 innovations from Thai inventors and researchers of various government agencies, private companies and educational institutions of more than 100 people to showcase at the WoSG.

The Embassy congratulates the Pipericide Plus: A New Innovation of Natural Sand Granules Against Aedes Aegypti Larvae, the invention from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nutchaya Kumrungsee and her team from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) for their winning of the Grand Prize.

On 11 July 2024, the Ambassador hosted a dinner for the NRCT represenatives and offered advice on the opportunities and application for Singapore grants to support pertinent researches and facilitate the commercialization of their innovative products in the Singaporean and other markets in the future.
